Monday Surges Run

Todays run was a 30 minute surge workout. 5 minute warmup at a 9:20 pace then alternate between 30 second surges at 7:30 and 2 minute jogs at 9:20, followed by a 5 minute cool down at 9:20. The weather was nice, in the low 70s. Traffic was normal on Lucille trail, but Silver Comet Trail was very busy with more runners and walkers than usual.


I was able to hit my target pace during every part of this run, completing 3.53 miles in 30 minutes. My breathing was good today, especially near the end.
